Within the next few year, clean diesel cars will be coming ashore! Finally!!!

Like the 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan CUV above, clean diesel is about to make its appearance in U.S. showrooms. Unlike gasohol (gasoline with 10% ethanol), diesel is much better for our economy and environment.
The gasoline-ethanol blend has been putting a strain on U.S. and worldwide corn production causing food costs to increase. U.S. farmer rather create corn crops where there is a subsidy for ethanol, rather than selling their crops for animal feed, or human consumption.
Ethanol is also bad for the economy. The gasohol blend right off the bat, has a two percent less miles per gallon ratio than pure gasoline. Studies are still pending on long-term emissions for gasohol.
