First Congress invaded Major League Baseball with the steroid case. Now they are reveiwing the New England Patriots about “spying” on other teams.
Doesn’t Congress have higher priorities than to investigate professional sports? What about health care, Social Security, tax reform, and budget concerns?
Shouldn’t Major League Baseball (MLB) and the National Football League (NFL) handle this themselves? You would think. MLB and NFL are private entities. Much like Citigroup or General Motors.
MLB and NFL need to work on this themselves, for the good of the game. For the players, and more importantly for the fans.
Having our Congressiona leaders interject themselves into who did what steroid, and who spying on some other team is a gross misuse of taxpayers money. We deserve better from our Congressional leaders.
Congress – you can watch, but stay out of the dugout!
